FROST AND R-ACE GP RETURN TO MLMC ACTION AT SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS
Following a two-month summer break, Danial Frost and R-ace GP finally return to action at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps this weekend for Round Four of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season.
Frost will take the wheel of the #85 R-ace GP Duqueine D09 alongside co-driver Enzo Peugeot. The pairing has proved to be a successful one through the opening three rounds of the season, with the duo currently leading the LMP3 championship standings as they head into the second half of the campaign. With three rounds remaining, Frost and Peugeot will look to build on their early-season momentum and further strengthen their position at the top of the standings in Belgium.
Spa-Francorchamps presents a new challenge for the Michelin Le Mans Cup field, with the iconic Belgian circuit known for its high-speed nature. Stretching 7.004 kilometers (4.352 miles) with 20 turns, the circuit demands precision and confidence, with sections such as Eau Rouge and Raidillon providing some of the most recognizable challenges in international motorsport. With Frost having never raced at the circuit, Wednesday’s test day will be crucial to maximize track time and get up to speed ahead of the weekend.
“It’s great to finally get back racing after summer break,” commented Frost. “Enzo and I have had a strong start to the season and put ourselves in a great championship position, so our focus is on keeping that momentum going at Spa. It’s a circuit that has always been on my bucket list, and I’m looking forward to getting back in the car, taking on this historic track, and fighting for another strong result.”
With the championship lead on the line and three rounds remaining on the 2026 calendar, Frost and Peugeot will be aiming to emerge from Spa with another strong points haul and maintain their position at the head of the LMP3 standings. The Michelin Le Mans Cup returns to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on August 21–22, with the race scheduled for Saturday, August 22.
