Frost and R-ace GP Deliver at Spa, Extend Championship Lead with Second Win of 2026

Danial Frost returned to the top step of the podium over the weekend, securing his second win of the season alongside co-driver Enzo Peugeot in the #85 R-ace GP Duqueine D09. Competing at the renowned Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the first time in his career, Frost and Peugeot claimed victory in Round Four of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Set among the rolling hills of eastern Belgium, the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most challenging tracks on the Michelin Le Mans Cup calendar. The 7.004-kilometer (4.352-mile), 20-turn circuit features more than 100 meters of elevation change, testing drivers on every lap.

The two-hour race delivered no shortage of action, with Frost and Peugeot navigating a competitive field and a constantly evolving race. A move by a competitor dropped the #85 to second late in the race, but a five-second penalty issued to the rival handed Frost and Peugeot the victory. The result marked the pair’s second win of the season and further strengthened their position at the front of the championship battle.

With the win in Round Four, Frost, Peugeot, and R-ace GP will carry a 30-point championship lead into the final two rounds of the season. The victory at Spa provided a timely boost as the team looks to maintain its momentum through the back half of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup campaign.

“To win at Spa is something I’ll never forget,” said Frost. “I’ve wanted to race here for a long time, and the track absolutely lived up to everything I imagined. It was a tough race, and the team gave us an incredible car from start to finish. Enzo and I had to stay focused and keep fighting all the way to the end, so to come away with the win for everyone at R-ace GP is incredibly rewarding. This is the perfect way to start the second half of the season, and we’re going to carry that confidence and hunger with us to Silverstone in three weeks.”

Frost will return to the track at Silverstone Circuit for Round Five of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup, September 11–12. With just two rounds remaining, every opportunity and every point will be crucial as the team looks to maintain its championship lead and continue its push toward the title.
