FROST WRAPS UP ASIAN LE MANS SERIES WEEKEND IN DUBAI WITH R-ACE GP

Danial Frost capped off his weekend with R-ace GP at Dubai Autodrome for Rounds Three and Four of the Asian Le Mans Series, overcoming adversity to deliver a strong result in the Toyota-powered Duqueine D09.

Taking on the 3.35-mile, 16-turn Dubai Autodrome road course, Frost joined co-drivers Léna Bühler and Shahan Sarkissian in the #85 R-ace GP LMP3 entry. The trio showed competitive speed and pace during Saturday’s Race One, but a mechanical issue forced an early retirement and shifted the team’s focus entirely to Sunday’s final four-hour contest.

Determined to rebound, Frost and his co-drivers returned for Race Two and executed a clean, consistent run, ultimately bringing the car home fourth in the second 4 Hours of Dubai. The result marked a strong recovery for the R-ace GP squad following Saturday’s setback and reflected the team’s resilience throughout the weekend.

Frost also expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to compete with R-ace GP, a partnership that was recently confirmed to continue into the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season. With momentum from Dubai, Frost is eager to build on this experience as preparations begin for the year ahead.

“Overall, it was a strong and productive weekend with R-ace GP,” commented Frost. “I really valued the opportunity to work alongside such a professional and dedicated team. While Saturday’s mechanical issue was unfortunate, the response from everyone was outstanding, and we were able to regroup and deliver a solid fourth-place finish on Sunday. I’m grateful to R-ace GP and Den-Jet for their support and confidence in me, and I’m excited to carry this momentum forward into the Michelin Le Mans Cup season.”

Frost will now turn his focus toward preparations for the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season with R-ace GP.
