Frost moves up two positions in points standings
It was an impressive weekend for the Andretti Autosport Indy Lights teams on the Streets of St. Petersburg. Following the doubleheader weekend, the team comes away with one win, three podiums and six top-five finishes on the 14-turn street course.
Singapore’s Danial Frost enjoyed another strong day, taking fourth for Andretti Autosport ahead of DeFrancesco, with Dane Benjamin Pedersen (Global Racing Group w/ HMD Motorsports) finding a way past Robert Megennis (Andretti Autosport), from New York, NY., for sixth in the closing stages.
“We started, again, P4 and tried to make up some positions but unfortunately we lost one. We had to make up some ground mid-race, so we made a move on Devlin (DeFrancesco) for P4 and then I was hunting down a podium position toward the final laps. But it seemed like Linus (Lundqvist) had the edge over me, so I struggled to get him at the end. It was close, but it is what it is. It was a pretty good weekend overall and I’m pretty happy with the results. We’re up to P5 in the championship which is really good from where we started. We’re making up some ground, and hopefully we’ll make up more in Indianapolis.”
