The Yas Marina circuit is the venue for the annual Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It is the second Formula One track in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain. It is a world-class host to a number of major events such as the FIA Formula One, the GP2 Asia Series, GT1 World, and the ITU World Triathlon Series.
Spanning 5,554kms, and covering 21 corners and turns twist through Yas Island off the Abu Dhabi coast, passing by the Marina and through the Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, and winding its way through sand dunes, with several long straights and tight corners.
Bruno Senna was the first driver to complete a test run on the circuit when it was finally approved by FIA in October 2009.
The fastest lap record is held by Lewis Hamilton under Mercedes to a time of 1:39.283 (2019).
